Weddings of the Hudson Valley | Lambs Hill | Beacon, NY
There appears to be a misconception that rethinking a wedding for something smaller and more intimate is a ‘cop out.’ But if the coronavirus has taught us anything, it’s that we need to embrace new ideas and concepts for weddings moving forward!
That’s NOT to say that there will never be traditional weddings again. (Trust me, I am missing all my hudson valley weddings here!) But for the time being, brides who want to move forward with a wedding in 2020 will need to rethink how they celebrate their love!
And an intimate wedding, micro wedding, or elopement in the Hudson Valley can be the right fit!
Yes, you have the ability to save money! There’s that positive aspect! But more importantly, you have the ability to plan something that is both beautiful and meaningful to you!
Forget the rigid timeline and all the traditional elements of a big wedding! An elopement has the possibility to be uniquely personal and often, the emotions will run high during one!
Which was the case with Cait & Matt! Truthfully, we wanted to host a ‘styled elopement!’ That was the original idea! But then it turned into something much more! Rachel, our fabulous wedding planner at Bad Boss Bride, created a vow renewal for these two. Having learned that they were unable to have a wedding, Rachel planned a vow renewal to surprise these two with!
If we were looking to have something personal, this was definitely it! The vow renewal was a success and everyone who participated enjoyed a memorable evening!
Xoxo, Summer
