Intimate New York Wedding | The Greens in Copake | New York
Lauren & Rick had postponed their wedding from earlier in the year to late August. And while New York State was still enacting various restrictions (including a gathering limit of no more than 50 people), they were able to have their dream wedding!
Along with the amazing staff at the Copake Country Club, Lauren & Rick enjoyed a hot and hazy summer day on the greens. Nestled somewhere betweeen holes 5 and 7, a largr white tent had been erected to accommodate the wedding. Tables were spaced accordingly, and furniture was strewn around the tent to allow guests various seating possibilities. A vintage camper was parked and served as the mobile bar. Signature drinks on tap, and a happy environment, this wedding was the first for the venue after a long pause due to Covid.
And if I have to be honest, there was something romantic about swapping vows overlooking the mountains! A light breeze cooled guests off. The string quartet played soothing sounds!
And the portraits? Who doesn’t want gorgeous mountain overlooks as we take bridal and couple portraits? The view was perfect and the weather played nice until the end! Yes, the skies finally opened up and it poured on us towards the end of the dinner reception!
But I never did mind a little rain!
Xoxo, Summer
