Adirondack Engagement Session at Bearsdlee!

A Day on the Farm | Beardslee Buffalo Farm | Little Falls | NY

Colleen And Andy met back in college. During their time there, they traveled abroad. One particular trip to Italy left an impression on them. Working together, they took a multigenerational farm and turned it into a water buffalo farm!

Located in upstate NY, the farm boasts over 200 acres of gorgeous land and is considered a historic farmstead. It happens to be the site of their future wedding later this year!

And we used it as their location for their engagement session!

I got to spend a gorgeous fall afternoon getting to know these two, getting a firsthand tour of the farm, and hanging out with Pepper, a feisty water buffalo who didn’t love my presence as much as her owners did!

MEET Summer

Photographer, artist, mother, outdoor lover, inspired by movement & motion, good light, and you.

I 'm a wife and mother. I love lazy Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee. I prefer nights on the couch with my family but also enjoy craft beers and apps in a swanky bar. I love being outdoors and I'm eternally grateful I get to experience all four seasons! I dig personal touches & homemade items over commercial goods. Admittedly, I also love shopping on Amazon Prime.

When I'm not in the Hudson Valley, you can find me enjoying time up in the Adirondacks at my second home. I find myself drawn to nature and the world we live in and often let it act as my muse when shooting.
