Hudson Valley Wedding

Showers passed through earlier in the day, but it didn’t put a damper on anyone’s spirit as we found the bridal suite. The Glen Island Harbor Club is a blend of old world class with a contemporary flair. Couples who choose this gorgeous venue want something a little more classic with a modern spin! Lauren and Jesse were no different! They wanted a wedding that was classic, bold, and elegant!

They had decided on Glen Island as the modern backdrop for their rustic wedding. With simple hydrangea centerpieces and wooden table signs, to handmade ring boxes carved from wood, Lauren and Jesse brought in their own touch to personalize their wedding. They had carefully planned a wedding that embodied personal touches at every part. Her father served as the officiant to their ceremony, and they honored family and friends by including them all in formal portraits!

While Jeannine worked with Jesse, I shot Lauren as she dressed with her sisters and mother, and then enjoyed first looks with both her dad and bridesmaids! Emotions ran high and everyone was so happy to celebrate! And somewhere while we shot those getting ready portraits, the weather turned nice and the sun came out making it easy to go outdoors for a first look between Lauren and Jesse!

Those Views…

Surrounded by amazing water views, the overlook made it a perfect backdrop as we shot portraits of both bridal party and family! And having gotten everything out of the way made it super easy for us to focus on other aspects as we shot the remainder of their wedding!

With a huge gathering of friends and family, Lauren and Jesse were surrounded by well wishers the whole night through and the reception was a lively party from start to end! There was plenty of dancing, laughing, and memorable moments the whole night!
