Driving up the dirt path to Glynwood, the sun shone as I passed green pastures, a charming home and boat house. The main house situated at the end of the drive is a historical building and looked like it came straight out of a magazine!
Having views like they have, it was no wonder that Dave and Assal chose Glynwood for their wedding! This city couple wanted something romantic and a venue that embodied old world charm and stunning views!
There are nooks and crannies located throughout! Walking through history, you can get a real sense for old living as you walk the halls of the main home. Assal was in the main bridal suite prepping herself for her wedding. Her closest friends were nearby enjoying time with their close friend.
Dave was located upstairs in a separate suite. Together with his brothers and father, the gentlemen enjoyed drinks and small talk as they waited anxiously.
The Ceremony & Reception
Skipping a first look, these two enjoyed a lively ceremony officiated by Dave’s brother and Assal’s friend. Jokes were shared, and moments were recounted for guests as they celebrated this sweet couple!
Portraits of these two took us all over the property and we enjoyed the grounds as Dave & Assal shared memorable moments and small kisses!
And their reception?? Let’s just say that these people knew how to party! A lively band and dj played to a crowd of enthusiastic people! Music poured out from the tent and could be heard from afar! And for myself, this first wedding of the 2019 season proved to be a memorable one!
