Fall Engagement Session
Lauren knew she wanted an engagement session during the fall! Something that embodied everything from warm colors to that golden sun! And New Paltz, NY is a gem of a spot that people from NYC always travel to! We knew that it would make a perfect location to have hers and Jonathan’s engagement session!
Part of what makes each engagement session unique is the planning that goes along with it! From mapping out ideas, to finding the right location, to having those perfect looks! I take pride in working with each couple to develop something personal to them and who they are as a couple! I wanted something that fit Lauren and her fiance Jonathan, but also complimented the fall season! So we developed a session that would utilize two different spots in New Paltz and incorporate two looks!
On a crisp fall afternoon, I met up with Lauren and Jonathan and we enjoyed the fall weather as we shot! We started our session at the famous Springtown Bridge (often seen in many movies!) and worked around the small pockets of people as we grabbed gorgeous shots!
We then headed over to the Mohonk Gateway Trail where we enjoyed a perfect sunset! Using nature to our advantage, we shot in open fields as the sun warmed our shots! From toasting their engagement to sweet walks through the fields, these two rocked their session and got the perfect fall engagement!
