As the threat of rain looms dramatically in Little Falls, Upstate New York, there’s a magic in the air that sets the stage for a summer wedding. Picture this: lush mountains and breathtaking views form a picturesque backdrop as you enjoy a wedding with your beloved amidst nature’s splendor. Getting married in upstate New York in the Adirondacks is not just a celebration; it’s an unforgettable journey into the heart of tranquility and romance.
Anyone who’s been there knows that summer in the Adirondacks is a time of vibrant life and abundant beauty. The landscape bursts into a kaleidoscope of colors, with wildflowers blooming in every shade imaginable and the gentle rustle of nature provides a soothing soundtrack to your special day. Whether you choose to say “I do” in the barn, or Natalie & Tim’s case, wed at a local church and then enjoy the reception at the Stone Barn at Beardslee, the natural beauty infused their wedding with an enchanting atmosphere.
Natalie and Tim chose tons of custom details. The dress Natalie wore was originally her mothers from years past. Natalie’s mother customized the dress for Natalie! The florals were local to the area. The food was catered by local farms with Beardslee providing its own buffalo milk burrata!
The best part about Natalie & Tim’s wedding was the opportunity to escape to a higher part of the farm for their portraits! Overlooking the stone barn, we embraced the dramatic skies and humid temps as we shot in the fields. Let’s be honest, if you’re going to enjoy an wedding in upstate New York, including portraits outdoors is key!
