Midtown Manhattan, New York City
December 2017
Seasonable temps had given way to a Nor’Eastern chill that blanketed New York City and surrounding areas. Inside a chic NYC coffee shop, Edith & Rob sit down to talk with me about their upcoming wedding day and photography.
Edith & Rob embody New York City chic and have embraced the frigid temps by wearing outfits in hues of navy, grey and white. Sipping on coffee, we have an hour long conversation to talk about how they envision their wedding day and photography needs and I listen raptly as they describe elegant details and tailored looks for what is sure to be a breathtaking wedding!
We vibe and we discuss and we all know that we’re going to be a great fit! And anyone who knows me KNOWS I live for wedding photography and the thought of shooting a beautiful wedding at the The Waveny House in New Canaan, CT, makes me sigh with anticipated pleasure.
Coffee’s done. Conversation has made us friends and we head over to Bryant Park and the New York Public Library to shoot their engagement session.
Edith & Rob are sweet. Belonging to the professional world, they listen and let me guide them through poses to find shots that feel as cool as they are. The one thing I don’t have to show them? How to be sweet on each other! The weather is chilly, but these two handle it like pro’s and we shoot a sweet engagement session that is perfectly tailored and as modern as they are!
With their wedding date approaching in less than two weeks I feel it’s way past due to dedicate a blog to them and their engagement session we shot last winter! And if you think this is anything, stay tuned because their wedding is sure to be amazing!
