The Inn at Longshore
The Inn at Longshore is nestled at the end of a scenic drive. Overlooking the Connecticut shoreline, the venue embodies a feel of old world charm and modern aesthetics blended into one.
When I entered, Melanie was inside the bridal suite. Her and her bridesmaids were excitedly moving around, getting hair and makeup done, and the room was a bevy of happy activity.
I found myself laughing with Melanie. I enjoyed watching her as she and her mother exchange sweet looks getting ready. Her bridesmaids were sweet and surprised her with sentimental gifts and Melanie looked flush with excitement. She was marrying her high school sweetheart Bobby!
Bobby looked equally amazing! Their choice of colors (blues & pinks) blended well into the venue and decor. And Bobby looked handsome as he prepped himself for the ceremony!
Their Wedding
Even though it was October, it was seasonably warm. The sunset ceremony was set against the shoreline. The setting sun cast a warm glow on everyone as the couple swapped vows and exchanged personal vows. Family and friends watched lovingly as Melanie and Bobby became man & wife. If you want Pinterest like shots, they got it during that first kiss! Their wedding ceremony was a dream!
We took portraits by the shoreline and ate delicious hors d’oeuvres as we shot. (Seriously, the venue has amazing food!) Once done, their reception was a party! Between amazing music, a lively bunch, and lots of good food and drinks, this was a wedding no one will forget for a long time to come!
