Headed to Lake Minnewaska…
A lot of couples love the fall season! A lot more choose to get married during that time of year. And a lot love to have their engagement session done during that time! And frankly, who can blame them?!
I met up with Lauren & Jesse to shoot their engagement at the gorgeous Lake Minnewaska, located deep in the Hudson Valley! Serene mountain views, gorgeous trails, waterfalls, and more, Lake Minnewaska has something for everyone! With colors at their peak, it was a perfect fall afternoon for an engagement session!
We headed over to Awosting Falls to begin our session there. Despite the crowd of nature enthusiasts present, it was easy to shoot around it and work all that gorgeousness into the images! Lauren & Jesse were naturals and their connection was strong!
Fun Moments…
We played around with different ideas and moments! A bottle of wine helped set the mood as these two enjoyed their fall afternoon with me! Between that crisp fall air, colorful leaves as they gently fluttered around us, and jokes and stories, Lauren & Jesse were on point!
From a photographer’s perspective, it’s always amazing to be able to connect with your couples! I love having the chance to get to know them, hear their ideas for their wedding, and be able to set the tone for what’s to come! I also don’t rush an engagement session! We play around at every location, trying different looks, and just having fun!
I loved meeting and getting to know these two! And if their wedding is anything like their engagement, I have no doubt that it’s going to be a memorable day to come!
